Muhirwe and Elia Mazimpaka, we focus on preaching the gospel, making disciples of all nations, and equipping believers for spiritual maturity. Our Story
The Church of Christ in The World was joyfully founded in 2016 by Pastor Rufus S. Muhirwe in Raleigh, North Carolina, with a vision to create a vibrant, Christ-centered, Spirit-filled community where people can grow in faith and make a remarkable impact through the gospel of Jesus Christ! What as a small gathering of believers has blossomed into a lively and diverse congregation! Our church family is filled with individuals and families from the Democratic Republic of Congo, Rwanda, Burundi, and corners of East Africa, showcasing an amazing mix of languages, cultures, and traditions—all united in Christ! With the enthusiastic leadership of Pastors Ruf S.
